Planning blueprint
The EthniQ Event Planning Blueprint
The order EthniQ plans an event in - dates first, then cost drivers, then one production plan - so you know what to decide, and when, before you commit to anything.
Start with the date, not the venue
The first decision is whether the dates are workable at all; everything else is built backwards from that.
- On the first call EthniQ says whether the dates are workable before the family commits to anything.
- Nine to twelve months is comfortable for the November to February peak, when the best convention centres and senior vendor teams book out early; six months works for a smaller guest list, and short-notice dates are sometimes possible.
- The muhurtham decides the clock; EthniQ builds the production schedule backwards from the family's timing.
- Write down the fixed dates and the ones that could move
- Note which functions are on which day
- Ask on the first call whether the dates are workable before discussing anything else
